Kootenay Industrial Rescue Ltd. is on the forefront of pole top rescue. For years the system used has been one improvised from other trades that would not meet a basic industry standard for rescue. Our method of ensuring a safety first approach has led us to find a system that would be simple to use. It also had to be economical to purchase and always available for self and companion rescue. Most importantly, it had to be faster to stabilize the worker who would be in need of first aid. Difficult Access

Kootenay Industrial Rescue Ltd. is more than just a source for all your training. As active rescue professionals, we have the skills and expertise to look after your most complex "difficult access" issues. From providing a fully equiped rescue team, to gaining your WCB/OHS compliance for technical inspections or repairs in areas beyond the limits of your workers capabilities. We can place your technician/engineer into almost any site in order for them to carry out the necessary work.

Often these inspections and repairs can not easily be completed due to WCB compliance. Our experts are able to prepare your evacuation plan and due to our high level of experience can gain approval from WCB by also being on stand by as a rescue team while the work is being carried out. This will often include rigging and implementing the necessary systems to place the engineer/technician into the site. Trying to utilize your inhouse resources for these situations not only hurts production and is cost prohibitive but often is beyond the experience level of most industrial rescue teams.
